A dramatic pairing of two dynamic artists, each passionate about what they do.
Borders based Joe hails from an historic aristocratic family and is best known for his en-plein air paintings of both city-scapes around the world and the countryside around his home. We are thrilled to have a wonderful collection of Edinburgh scenes for this show, with a few of his beloved Venice thrown in for good measure.
In this show we welcome the established and highly collectable artist, Huw Williams, to the gallery. Huw's work sells internationally and is instantly recognisable - predominantly for his dramatic equine paintings. In this collection we show his full breadth of styles, though, including some delicate sketches, stylised figures and tender animal portraits.
